From the center of Princes Town, walk towards High Street and head southeast. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Naparima-Mayaro Road (also known as the Princes Town Main Road). Turn left onto Naparima-Mayaro Road. Walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Piparo Road. At this point, you can either continue walking straight or take a local bus to Piparo village.

If you choose to take a local bus from Princes Town, head to the bus terminal located near the market area. Look for buses heading towards Piparo or any bus that displays 'Piparo' on their front window. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Piparo, ask the driver to drop you off near the Piparo Mud Volcano. From the bus stop, it’s a short 10-minute walk following the signs to the mud volcano.
