Start your journey at Scarborough's main ferry terminal. Head south on the main road, following signs towards Crown Point. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction at Great Courland Bay. Here, turn left onto the road that leads toward the village of Castara. This part of the walk will take you through beautiful coastal scenery. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will arrive at the entrance of Castara village. From here, ask locals for directions to Castara Waterfall, as it is a popular destination.

From Scarborough, locate the bus stop near the ferry terminal and catch a bus heading to Castara. The buses are generally marked with their destinations. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Castara, walk towards the village center and ask a local for the path to the waterfall. The waterfall is a short hike from the village, and locals can guide you to the best route.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental services in Scarborough. Start at the ferry terminal, head south on the main road towards Crown Point. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left at the junction heading toward Castara. The ride is scenic but can be hilly, so be prepared for some uphill sections.
