From Tunapuna, head to the Tunapuna bus terminal located on the Eastern Main Road. Look for a bus heading towards San Juan or Arima. Inform the conductor that you want to go to Las Cuevas Beach. The bus will take you along the main road and drop you off at the Las Cuevas bus stop. From there, walk down the path towards the beach, which is signposted.

You can take a taxi from anywhere in Tunapuna. Simply ask a local for a taxi service or look for a taxi stand. Tell the driver you want to go to Las Cuevas Beach. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the beach is easily accessible from the main road.

If you are near the Tunapuna market area, you can walk towards the Eastern Main Road and then head east towards the beach. It’s quite a long walk (about 1.5 hours) so it's best to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. Follow the main road until you reach the Las Cuevas area, where you'll find signs directing you to the beach.
