Car
Start your journey in Chott el Jerid and head east on Route Nationale 16 (RN16) towards the town of Nefta. Follow the signs for Nefta and continue for approximately 30 kilometers. Once you reach Nefta, follow the signs leading to Béchri, which is located approximately 15 kilometers southwest of Nefta. The final destination is marked as RPGJ+W6 on your GPS. Be cautious of the local driving conditions and ensure you have enough fuel, as services can be scarce in this desert region.
Public Transportation
From Chott el Jerid, take a shared taxi (known as 'louage') towards Nefta. These taxis leave from designated spots in the town, and the fare is typically around 5 Tunisian Dinars. Once you arrive in Nefta, you will need to take another shared taxi heading towards Béchri. The second leg of the journey may cost around 10 Tunisian Dinars. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they can drop you off at RPGJ+W6 in Béchri.
