Djerba Midun Observation Deck: A Panoramic Escape

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Houmt Souk, head northeast on Avenue Habib Bourguiba towards Rue El Hodi. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route Touristique, which leads towards Djerba Midun. Walk for approximately 1.8 kilometers, and you will see signs for the observation deck. As you approach Djerba Midun, continue straight, and the observation deck will be on your left side, located at R2GQ+67W.

• Walking

  From Midoun, start at Place de la République. Walk west along Avenue de l'Environnement for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Route Touristique. Turn left onto Route Touristique and continue walking for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to the observation deck. It will be on your right side at R2GQ+67W.

• Bicycle

  If you have rented a bicycle, start from the area of Houmt Souk. Cycle northeast on Avenue Habib Bourguiba for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route Touristique and continue cycling for approximately 1.8 kilometers. Look for signs leading to the observation deck, which will be on your left at R2GQ+67W.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From Houmt Souk, find the local bus station located near Place de la République. Take a bus heading towards Midoun. After about a 20-minute ride, get off at the Midoun bus stop. From there, walk along Avenue de l'Environnement towards Route Touristique, and then turn left. Walk for about 2 kilometers until you see signs for the observation deck on your right side at R2GQ+67W.
