Walking
From the center of Houmt Souk, head southeast on Avenue Habib Bourguiba towards Rue de la République. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the main roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de l'Indépendance. Walk for an additional 500 meters until you see a sign for Hara Sghira. Turn left onto Hara Sghira and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. Djerbahood will be on your right at RVC3+GP4.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Houmt Souk. Follow the same walking directions mentioned above, but on a bicycle. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes, and you will enjoy a more scenic route. Rental costs typically range from 5 to 10 Tunisian Dinars per hour.
Local Bus
You can also take a local bus from the main bus station in Houmt Souk. Look for a bus heading towards Hara Sghira; the fare is usually around 1 Tunisian Dinar. Once you board, inform the driver that you're going to Djerbahood. The bus will drop you off at a stop close to the entrance of Djerbahood. From there, it’s a short walk of about 200 meters to reach the entrance.
Taxi
For a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from Houmt Souk to Djerbahood. The fare should be around 10-15 Tunisian Dinars. Make sure to negotiate the price before getting in the taxi. The drive will take approximately 10 minutes, and the driver can drop you off right at the entrance.
