Public Bus
From any location in Djerba, make your way to the nearest bus station. Look for a bus heading to Houmt Souk, the main town on the island. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Houmt Souk bus station, disembark and head towards the main road (Avenue Habib Bourguiba). From here, you can either walk or take a local taxi.
Walking
If you choose to walk from Houmt Souk, start at Avenue Habib Bourguiba and head southeast towards the coastal road. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the RR68 road. Turn left onto RR68. Follow this road for about 2 km, and you will see signs indicating the path to غار مجماج. The cave is located approximately 500 meters off the main road.
Taxi
After arriving at Houmt Souk, you can easily find a local taxi. Inform the driver that you wish to go to غار مجماج. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Make sure to show them the exact address: RR68+QM4, Houmt Souk. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off near the entrance to the cave.
