Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are staying in Houmt Souk, the main town in Djerba, start at the central market (Souk). From there, head southeast towards Avenue Habib Bourguiba. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Route Touristique. Keep walking along this road for another 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection near the village of Temlel. Turn left onto the road leading into Temlel. After about 500 meters, you will see mosquée Sidi Abdelkader on your right.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Houmt Souk. Start from the central market and head southeast towards Avenue Habib Bourguiba. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Route Touristique. Cycle along this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you arrive at the intersection near Temlel. Turn left into Temlel, and after about 500 meters, you will find mosquée Sidi Abdelkader on your right.
