Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Midoun, head south towards Avenue de la Liberté. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route Touristique. Turn left onto Route Touristique and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Aghir. You will pass by local shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the Aghir area, look for a sign for Phare Aghir. The lighthouse is located on an unnamed road just off the main route, so keep an eye out for the landmark.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer a quicker method, consider renting a bicycle in Midoun. Many local shops offer rentals. Once you have a bicycle, head south on Avenue de la Liberté towards Route Touristique. Cycle along Route Touristique for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the signs for Aghir. This option will allow you to cover the distance faster and enjoy the scenery. Rental prices can vary, so expect to pay around 5-10 TND per hour.

• Taxi

  For a more convenient option, you can take a taxi. You can find taxis around Midoun, especially near popular tourist areas. Negotiate the fare before getting in, as taxis in Tunisia typically do not use meters. The ride to Phare Aghir should cost around 10-15 TND, depending on your starting point in Midoun. Make sure to tell the driver you are going to 'Phare Aghir' or show them the address: Q247+4FQ, Unnamed Road, Aghir.

• Public Bus

  You can also take a public bus from Midoun to Aghir. Buses regularly run between these towns, and the fare is very inexpensive (around 1-2 TND). Look for the bus station in Midoun and catch a bus heading towards Aghir. Once you arrive in Aghir, you may need to walk about 500 meters to reach Phare Aghir.
