Walking
From the center of Midoun, head east on Avenue Hedi Nouira towards the main roundabout. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route Touristique. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you see signs for El Gayed. Turn left onto the small road leading into El Gayed. Continue walking for another 500 meters, and you will find palais Ben AYED on your right, marked by a distinct architectural style.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Midoun. Follow the same route as walking: head east on Avenue Hedi Nouira, then take the second exit at the roundabout onto Route Touristique. Biking will be quicker, and it should take you around 15 minutes to reach palais Ben AYED. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling rules.
Taxi (shared)
For a quick and easy option, consider taking a shared taxi (known as 'louage') from the main taxi stand in Midoun. Ask the driver to take you to El Gayed and ensure they know you're heading to palais Ben AYED. The ride should cost around 3-5 TND and take about 10 minutes. Once you arrive in El Gayed, it's just a short walk to the palais.
