From Matmata, head southwest on the main road (Route Nationale 1) towards Al-Hammah. Continue on this road for approximately 18 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Al-Hammah. Once you reach Al-Hammah, follow local signage or ask for directions to عين الجمل. You will exit the main road and drive towards the coordinates VGPP+QX, which is known for its scenic view. Parking might be limited, so plan accordingly.

To reach عين الجمل using public transport, start by taking a shared taxi (known locally as 'louage') from Matmata to Al-Hammah. The fare is typically around 5 Tunisian Dinars and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Al-Hammah, you can either walk (which is approximately 1.5 kilometers) or hire a local taxi to take you directly to عين الجمل. Make sure to communicate the destination clearly to the driver. The taxi fare for the short distance should not exceed 5 Tunisian Dinars.
