Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Tunis. Take the A1 motorway towards Sousse. After approximately 130 km, take the exit towards Enfidha and continue on Route 11 towards Mahdia. Follow the signs to Kuriat Island. Once you reach the coast near Kuriat, you will need to park your car at a designated area and take a short boat ride to the island. Ensure you check the local ferry schedule for timings and availability.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin your journey at the Tunis Bus Station. Take a bus to Sousse, which takes about 2 hours and costs around 10 TND. From Sousse, transfer to a local bus heading towards Mahdia. After reaching Mahdia, you can find taxis or shared taxis (louages) that will take you to the harbor for Kuriat. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes and cost approximately 15-20 TND. Once at the harbor, you will need to purchase a ferry ticket to Kuriat, which usually costs around 5-10 TND. Be sure to check the ferry schedule beforehand.
