Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any location within the Cap Bon Peninsula, head towards the highway (A1) that connects to Tunis. Depending on your starting point, this can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. Follow the signs for Tunis and take the exit toward Avenue Mohamed 5. Once you reach Avenue Mohamed 5, look for the City of Culture located at R56P+C9J in the Montplaisir borough. There is parking available near the venue, but be prepared to pay for parking, which typically costs around 2 TND per hour.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach the City of Culture using public transportation, find a bus heading towards Tunis. Buses from the Cap Bon region to Tunis are frequent and cost around 5 TND. Upon arrival at the Tunis central bus station, transfer to a local bus or taxi. For the local transport, take bus line 6 or 31, which will bring you near Avenue Mohamed 5. You can then walk to City of Culture (approximately 10-15 minutes from the bus stop).

• Public Transportation (Train)

  If you prefer to travel by train, head to the nearest train station in the Cap Bon Peninsula. Take a train to Tunis, which usually takes about 1.5 hours and costs approximately 10 TND. Upon reaching Tunis, you can catch a taxi or a local bus to Avenue Mohamed 5. Taxis are readily available at the train station and will cost around 10-15 TND, depending on traffic.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in the Cap Bon Peninsula directly to the City of Culture. This option is more expensive, generally costing between 30 to 50 TND depending on your starting point and traffic conditions. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
