If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Sfax. Head towards the Kerkennah Islands via the ferry from Sfax to the island of Chergui, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Chergui, drive towards the east coast to reach Sharqi Island where Barbarous kerkennah is located. The drive from Chergui to Sharqi Island will take about 15 minutes. Please note that the ferry costs around 5 TND per person and 10 TND per vehicle.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Sfax to the ferry terminal. Buses run frequently and the fare is approximately 1 TND. After arriving at the ferry terminal, purchase your ticket to Chergui Island (approximately 5 TND). Once on the island, you can find local taxis or shared taxis (known as 'louages') that will take you to Sharqi Island. The taxi fare may vary but expect to pay around 5 TND for the ride.
