Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Tozeur, head southwest towards Avenue Habib Bourguiba. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and proceed until you reach the bus station (Gare Routière de Tozeur). Here, you can take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Bouhlel Sdada. Inform the driver that your destination is Djebel Sidi Bouhlel. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Bouhlel Sdada, walk towards the direction of the mountain, following the signs for Djebel Sidi Bouhlel. The hiking area is well-marked and should be visible from a distance.

• Public Transport

  Start your journey from Tozeur's city center and walk to the Gare Routière (bus station). At the bus station, look for buses or shared taxis that are marked for Bouhlel Sdada. Once you board the vehicle, let the driver know that you want to go to Djebel Sidi Bouhlel. The ride should take around 30 minutes. When you arrive in Bouhlel Sdada, you may need to walk a short distance towards the mountain. Look for signs directing you to the hiking area, which should be easily accessible and visible.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Tozeur. Once you have your bike, head towards Avenue Habib Bourguiba and continue straight until you reach the bus station. From there, take the route towards Bouhlel Sdada, following the main road. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your speed. As you approach Bouhlel Sdada, keep an eye out for signs for Djebel Sidi Bouhlel. You can park your bicycle at the foot of the mountain and begin your hike from there.
