Sahara Lounge: A Tranquil Oasis in Tozeur

Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey at the central square of Tozeur, Place Habib Bourguiba. From there, head northwest on Avenue Habib Bourguiba for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and continue for approximately 300 meters. You will then reach the entrance of the Oasis de Tozeur. Continue straight through the oasis area until you reach the edge of the town. As you exit the oasis, you will see Route de la Berka ahead. Turn right onto Route de la Berka and walk for about 1 kilometer. Look for a sign indicating Sahara Lounge on your left side.

• Bicycle

  Begin at Place Habib Bourguiba and rent a bicycle from a local rental service. Cycle northwest on Avenue Habib Bourguiba for about 500 meters. Turn left onto Rue de la République and continue for around 300 meters until you reach the entrance of the Oasis de Tozeur. Ride through the oasis area, taking in the sights, and continue out of the oasis until you reach Route de la Berka. Turn right and head straight for about 1 kilometer. Look for Sahara Lounge on your left; it will be well-signposted.

• Public Transport

  From the central square (Place Habib Bourguiba), locate the bus station nearby. Take local bus number 1 or 2, which heads towards the outskirts of Tozeur. Inform the driver that you are going to Sahara Lounge. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to Route de la Berka and walk for about 200 meters; Sahara Lounge will be on your left.
