Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the Medina of Tunis, head towards the main entrance of the Medina, which is near the Bab el-Bahr (Sea Gate). Walk through the bustling streets lined with shops and cafes. After about 10 minutes, keep an eye out for the 'Souk Trok' sign; turn right onto Souk Trok street. The Sidi Youssef Dey Mosque is located at number 27 on this street. It should be a short walk from here, and you will see the mosque's entrance on your left.

• Bus

  From the central bus station, take bus number 1 or 3 towards the Medina. Get off at the 'La Medina' stop. From there, walk straight into the Medina until you reach Souk Trok street. Turn right onto Souk Trok, and the mosque will be on your left at number 27. The entire journey should take around 30 minutes.

• Taxi (Shared or Private)

  You can hail a taxi from anywhere in Tunis. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Sidi Youssef Dey Mosque' or 'Souk Trok in La Medina'. The driver should know the location. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the mosque is located at 27 Souk Trok.

• Metro and Walking

  Take the metro to the 'L'Indépendance' station. Exit and walk towards the Medina. Once you reach the Medina, navigate through the narrow streets until you find Souk Trok street. Turn right onto Souk Trok, and the Sidi Youssef Dey Mosque will be at number 27 on your left. This route typically takes about 30-35 minutes.
