Walking
If you are in the main area of Sidi Bou Said, start by heading towards the cliffside promenade, known as the 'Corniche'. Walk along the promenade towards Carthage. After about 10-15 minutes, you will see signs for 'Carthage'. Continue walking until you reach Rue Hedi Zarrouk, which is a short uphill walk. Ben Ayed's Castle will be on your right at 48 Rue Hedi Zarrouk. The total walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.
Public Transport
From the center of Sidi Bou Said, head to the nearest bus stop. Take Bus 100 (which goes to Carthage) and ride for about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Carthage' stop. From there, walk uphill on Rue Hedi Zarrouk for about 5-10 minutes until you reach Ben Ayed's Castle at 48 Rue Hedi Zarrouk. The bus fare is approximately 1 TND.
Taxi
You can also opt for a taxi if you prefer a quicker route. From anywhere in Sidi Bou Said, simply flag down a taxi and tell the driver you want to go to Ben Ayed's Castle on Rue Hedi Zarrouk. The ride will take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand, which should be around 5-10 TND.
