Yag Mosque: A Majestic Gem of Adana

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Adana Merkez Park (Central Park), head east towards the Atatürk Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Atatürk Caddesi. Turn right onto Atatürk Caddesi and walk until you reach the junction with Alidede Street. Turn left onto Alidede Street, and Yag Mosque will be on your left, just past the Vakıflar Sarayı.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the Adana Bus Terminal, take bus number 101 towards Alidede. The bus will take you directly to the Alidede neighborhood. Get off at the Alidede stop, and from there, walk a short distance down Alidede Street. Yag Mosque is located a few blocks down on your right. Make sure to check the bus schedule as they may vary, especially on weekends.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from your location. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Vakıflar Sarayı Yağ Camii' in the Alidede neighborhood. The taxi will drop you off right in front of the mosque. It's a well-known landmark, so drivers will be familiar with it.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from a nearby rental shop. Start at the Adana Merkez Park and cycle along the river towards the Atatürk Bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow the same path as the walking route: head east on Atatürk Caddesi, turn left onto Alidede Street, and Yag Mosque will be on your left.
