Walking
If you are starting from Alanya's central beach area, head northeast along Atatürk Boulevard towards the old town (Kaleiçi). Continue walking until you reach the entrance of the old town, where you will see the historic architecture and shops. Follow the signs towards Alanya Castle, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill. As you ascend, you will encounter the Alanya Archaeological Museum on your left, which can be a good stopping point for a visit. Continue up the winding path through the old town, passing the ancient city walls until you reach the castle entrance. The views from the castle are breathtaking!

Public Transport (Bus)
From the central bus station (Otogar) in Alanya, take a minibus (dolmuş) heading towards the old town. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop for Alanya Castle (Kale). The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs towards the castle entrance. The walk up to the castle from the drop-off point is uphill but manageable, and it takes about 10-15 minutes to reach the entrance.

If you prefer a quicker and more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Alanya. Simply ask the driver to take you to Alanya Castle (Kale). The journey should take around 10 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the driver can drop you off at the entrance of the castle, where you can start exploring the historical site.
