Getting There

Once you arrive at the designated stop, you may have to walk approximately 15-20 minutes uphill to reach the castle.

  From Alanya's central square, take a dolmuş heading towards the eastern beaches or Gazipaşa. There are frequent dolmuş services, and they are relatively inexpensive. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as parts of the journey can be steep.

  For a more direct and comfortable option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Alanya to Alara Castle. You can flag down a taxi from the streets or use a taxi app. The drive will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
