From popular spots like Bodrum Castle or the main shopping streets, you can easily walk to the harbor by following the waterfront promenade. The boat ride will take approximately 30 minutes, offering scenic views of the coastline. Upon arrival at Kara Ada, you can explore the island’s beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters.

Public Transport + Boat

If you're staying further from the harbor, you can take a dolmuş (shared minibus) from various points in Bodrum to the Bodrum Marina. These dolmuşes run regularly and are an affordable option. Once you arrive at the marina, follow the instructions above to catch a boat to Kara Ada. Alternatively, you can also take a taxi to the marina directly if you prefer a quicker route.
