From Canakkale city center, head to the main bus station (Otogar). You can walk there or take a local dolmuş (minibus). Once at the Otogar, look for buses heading to Eceabat. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Alçı Tepe, or keep an eye out for the Alçıtepe sign. Once you arrive, you will be near the entrance to the site.

Dolmuş (Shared Minibus)
You can catch a dolmuş from the city center towards Eceabat. These minibuses frequently run along the route. Request to be dropped off at Alçı Tepe. The trip is quick and should take around 30 minutes. Make sure to have some Turkish Lira for the fare.

Walking and Public Transport Combination
If you prefer a more scenic route, you can walk to the ferry terminal at the Canakkale waterfront. Take the ferry to Eceabat, which provides beautiful views of the Dardanelles. Upon arriving in Eceabat, take a dolmuş or walk towards Alçı Tepe, which is approximately 6 kilometers away. If walking, follow the main road towards Alçı Tepe, keeping an eye out for signs.
