Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Canakkale at the clock tower (Saat Kulesi). Walk towards the Cumhuriyet Meydanı (Republic Square). From there, head towards the ferry terminal at the waterfront. Once at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the Eceabat ferry. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving in Eceabat, disembark and head to the bus stop located near the ferry terminal. Take the public bus that heads towards Alçıtepe. Alight at the 'Sarıtepe' stop. From the bus stop, Sarıtepe Cemetery is a short walk away, following the signs or asking locals for directions.

Begin your journey at the Canakkale bus station (Otogar). From there, take a local minibus (dolmuş) that goes to Eceabat. The journey should take around 20-30 minutes. Upon reaching Eceabat, head to the ferry terminal and take the ferry to Canakkale. After crossing, return to Eceabat by ferry and again catch a dolmuş heading to Alçıtepe. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Sarıtepe Cemetery. The cemetery is within walking distance from the bus stop.
