From Canakkale city center, head to the main bus station (Otogar), which is located approximately 1 km from the waterfront. You can walk there in about 15 minutes or take a local dolmus (minibus) that frequently runs between the center and the bus station. Once at the bus station, look for the buses heading to Tevfikiye. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Troia entrance or follow the signs for 'Troia' once you arrive in Tevfikiye.

Shared Taxi (Dolmus)
In Canakkale, you can find shared taxis (dolmus) that travel to Tevfikiye. Head to the designated dolmus stop at the city center, which is usually near the main bus station. Make sure to ask your driver to take you to Troia. This option is usually faster than the public bus and costs approximately the same. The ride will take about 25 minutes, and you will be dropped off close to the entrance of the archaeological site.

Walking and Public Transport
For the more adventurous, you can combine walking and public transport. Start from Canakkale and walk towards the waterfront, then follow the coast road towards Tevfikiye, which is around 8 km away. After walking for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you can catch a dolmus or bus from the roadside into Tevfikiye. This allows you to enjoy the scenic views along the coast before heading to Troia.
