If you are in the central area of Avanos, start by heading toward the Avanos River. From the town square, walk down towards the riverfront. Once you reach the river, turn left and follow the path along the riverbank. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you see the windmill located on a small hill on your right. The windmill is easily visible from the riverbank.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local bus to get closer to the Avanos Windmill. Head to the Avanos bus station, which is centrally located. Look for a bus heading towards the Alaaddin neighborhood. The bus ride should take about 5-10 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to the windmill, and from there, you can walk for about 5 minutes uphill to reach the windmill.

Bicycle Rental
For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Avanos. Once you have the bicycle, head towards the river and follow the same route as the walking instructions. Biking will allow you to cover the distance in about 5-10 minutes.
