Walking
From the center of Göreme, head southwest on Avcilar Sokak towards Müze Cadde. Continue straight for about 1.1 km until you reach the intersection with Uçhisar Yolu. Turn left onto Uçhisar Yolu and walk for approximately 1 km. You will see signs directing you to Uchisar Castle. The castle entrance is located at the top of the hill, and the walk will take about 25-30 minutes.

From the Göreme bus station, take a local minibus (dolmuş) heading to Uçhisar. The buses run frequently, and the fare is around 10-15 Turkish Lira. The minibus will take you directly to Uçhisar, and the journey lasts about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at Uçhisar, follow the signs to Uchisar Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill from the bus stop.

If you prefer a more private and direct option, you can take a taxi from Göreme to Uchisar. The taxi fare will be around 80-100 Turkish Lira, and the ride takes approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Uchisar, you can easily walk to the castle entrance, which is located on the hilltop.
