Getting There

  • Public Bus

    If you're starting from Göreme, head to the main bus terminal located at the edge of town. Look for a bus heading towards Ürgüp, which is a frequent route. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Ürgüp, get off at the main bus station. From there, you can either walk or take a local dolmuş (minibus) towards Çökek. If walking, head south along Kayseri Cd. for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach Saruhan Kervansaray on your left.

  • Dolmuş (Minibus)

    From Ürgüp, take a dolmuş that is headed towards Çökek. These minibuses leave frequently from the main bus station. The journey will take around 10 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to go to Saruhan Kervansaray, and they will drop you off near the entrance. It’s a short walk from the drop-off point to the Kervansaray itself.

  • Walking

    If you're in the nearby village of Çavuşin, you can walk to Saruhan Kervansaray. Head east on the main road towards Ürgüp and then turn onto Kayseri Cd. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers, and you will see the Kervansaray on your right side. It is a scenic walk, so enjoy the views of the surrounding landscape.

  • Taxi

    For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your accommodation in Cappadocia. Taxis are widely available in towns like Göreme, Ürgüp, or Avanos.
