    From the Ortahisar Castle, head southeast on İstiklal Cd. towards the main road. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Eski. Turn left onto Eski Cd. and walk for about 200 meters. You will see Hallach Monastery on your right, just past the local shops.

  • Public Transport (Dolmuş)

    If you prefer a quicker option, take a dolmuş (shared minibus) from the Ortahisar main square. Look for a dolmuş heading towards Ürgüp. The fare is around 5 Turkish Lira. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Hallach Monastery. The journey will take approximately 10 minutes, and the dolmuş will stop close to the monastery. From the drop-off point, it’s a short 5-minute walk back to the entrance of the monastery.

  • Bicycle Rental

    For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ortahisar. The rental cost is usually about 30-50 Turkish Lira per day.
