Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can easily reach Phrygian Valley from major cities in Central Anatolia. From Afyonkarahisar, take the D300 highway heading east towards Ihsaniye. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the village of Üçlerkayası. Look for signs directing you to the Phrygian Valley. There is usually parking available near the entrance to the valley. The drive should take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Afyonkarahisar to Ihsaniye. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Ihsaniye, you can take a local dolmuş (shared taxi) or a taxi to reach Üçlerkayası Village. The dolmuş will take you directly to the village, and the fare is usually around 10-15 Turkish Lira. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, taking a taxi from Afyonkarahisar to Phrygian Valley is a convenient option. Taxis are readily available in the city center. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and the fare may vary, typically costing around 150-200 Turkish Lira. It's advisable to negotiate the price beforehand or ensure the meter is running.

• Walking

  Once you arrive in Üçlerkayası Village, the Phrygian Valley is accessible by foot. Depending on where you park or are dropped off, it may take around 15-30 minutes to walk to the main sites within the valley. The paths are well-marked, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially during warmer months.
