Getting There

Walking
From the center of Göreme, head towards the main road (Aydın Kıral Caddesi) and walk south. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the road leading to Uçhisar. At this junction, turn left onto the road towards Uçhisar. Follow this road for about 1.5 km. You will pass by several small shops and restaurants along the way. When you reach the village of Kaymaklı, look for signs leading to Kaymaklı Underground City, which is located on Belediye Caddesi. The entrance will be on your left.

Public Transport (Minibus)
From the center of Göreme, walk to the Göreme bus terminal, which is located near the main square. Look for the minibuses heading towards Kaymaklı. The fare is typically around 10-15 TL. Board the minibus and enjoy the ride, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kaymaklı, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, follow the signs to Kaymaklı Underground City, which is a short 5-minute walk down Belediye Caddesi on your right.
