Car
If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the city of Aksaray, which is well connected by major highways in Ionia. From Aksaray, take the D300 highway towards Yeşilova. After approximately 25 kilometers, take the exit towards Yeşilova / Merkez. Follow the signs to Alasakallı. Once in Alasakallı, the entrance to Acemhöyük is well marked. There is no entrance fee for visiting the site, but it is advisable to check local guidelines for any updates.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start your journey at the Aksaray bus terminal. Look for buses heading to Yeşilova. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Yeşilova, you can take a local minibus or a taxi to Alasakallı. The minibus is typically frequent and should cost around 10-15 Turkish Lira. Confirm with the driver that they will take you to Alasakallı, where Acemhöyük is located.
Walking from Yeşilova
If you are feeling adventurous and prefer to walk from Yeşilova, you can reach Acemhöyük by following the main road from the bus stop in Yeşilova towards Alasakallı. The distance is about 4 km and can take approximately an hour on foot. Follow the signs towards Alasakallı, and you will see the site markers as you get closer. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water for the walk.
