If you are near Taksim Square, you can take the M2 Metro line towards Yenikapı. Get off at the Taksim station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Taksim Square. From Taksim Square, walk a short distance towards the Taksim Gezi Parkı, which is located on the left side of Tak-ı Zafer Cd.

From there, you can either walk uphill towards Taksim Square, which will take about 15-20 minutes, or take the funicular from Kabataş to Taksim.
