    If you are starting from the Alsancak area, you can easily walk to the İzmir Historical Elevator Building. Head towards the coast along the Alsancak promenade, which is also known as the Kordon. Once you reach the end of the promenade, turn left onto Şht. Nihatbey Cd. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. The elevator will be on your right at Turgut Reis, Şht. Nihatbey Cd. 76/A. This walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From Alsancak, you can take the bus to reach the İzmir Historical Elevator Building. Head to the nearest bus stop (look for 'Alsancak Garajı' bus stop). Take bus number 35 or 38, which travels towards Konak. After about 5 stops (around 10 minutes), get off at the 'Basmane' stop. From there, it’s a short walk along Şht. Nihatbey Cd for about 5 minutes until you arrive at the elevator. The bus fare is approximately 15 Turkish Lira.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    Another option is to take the tram. Walk to the Alsancak tram station. Board the tram heading towards 'Konak' on the Izmir Tram Line. Ride for 3 stops (about 5 minutes) and get off at 'Konak' station. From the tram station, walk towards the coast and then turn right on Turgut Reis, Şht. Nihatbey Cd. The Historical Elevator Building is located about a 10-minute walk from there. The tram fare is also around 15 Turkish Lira.
