Travel Guide to Göztepe Suspension Bridge

Getting There

• Public Transport

  Start your journey at Konak Metro Station, located in the heart of Izmir. Take the metro line towards 'Evka 3'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Basmane' station. From Basmane, transfer to the Izban train line towards 'Aliağa'. Travel for 5 stops and disembark at 'Güzelyalı' station. Upon exiting the station, head towards the coast along Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard. The Göztepe Suspension Bridge will be visible as you approach the waterfront.

• Bus

  From the central area of Izmir, locate the bus station near the Konak area. Take Bus 100 or 200, which goes towards Güzelyalı. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Güzelyalı stop, walk south along Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard for about 10 minutes until you reach the Göztepe Suspension Bridge, which will be along the waterfront.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing stations in Izmir. Start from Alsancak and cycle along the coast on the bike path, following Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard. The ride to Göztepe Suspension Bridge is scenic and takes around 25 minutes. Follow the signs along the promenade to reach the bridge.

• Walking

  If you are nearby, walking to the Göztepe Suspension Bridge can be a pleasant experience. From the Konak area, head south towards the waterfront along Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard. It’s about a 30-minute walk, and you can enjoy the beautiful views of the bay along the way. The bridge will be located at the end of this boulevard.
