Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start from any major town along the Lycian Coast, such as Fethiye or Kaş. Use the D400 highway heading east towards Kumluca. Follow the signs for Kumluca, and upon entering the town, look for signs directing you to Olympos (this is usually towards the south). The Olympos Ruins are located in Yazır, approximately 7 kilometers from Kumluca. You will see signs directing you to the ruins. There may be a parking fee of around 10 TL.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Olympos Ruins via public transportation, take a bus from Fethiye or Antalya to Kumluca. Once you arrive at Kumluca, you can catch a dolmuş (minibus) to Olympos. The dolmuş will take you to a stop near the entrance of the ruins. The total bus fare from Fethiye to Kumluca is approximately 30 TL, and the dolmuş fare to Olympos is around 10 TL.

  • Walking

    If you're already in the vicinity of Olympos village, you can walk to the ruins. From the Olympos village center, follow the marked trail leading to the ruins, which is about a 20-30 minute walk. The path is relatively easy to navigate, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
