Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, navigate to Fethiye using the D400 highway, which runs along the coast. As you approach Fethiye, follow signs for 'Fethiye Merkez' (Fethiye Center). Once in the center, look for Gaffar Okkan Caddesi (Street). The Likya Lahiti (Lycian Sarcophagus) is located at Cumhuriyet, Gaffar Okkan Cd. 32-34. You can park in nearby public parking areas or street parking, but be aware of local parking regulations to avoid fines.

  For those using public transportation, take a bus or dolmuş (shared minibus) to Fethiye from other towns along the Lycian Coast, such as Ölüdeniz or Kaş. Once you arrive at the Fethiye bus station (Otogar), walk towards the Fethiye center, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head towards Gaffar Okkan Caddesi and look for the address Cumhuriyet, Gaffar Okkan Cd. 32-34. Alternatively, you can take a local taxi from the bus station to reach the sarcophagus quickly.

  If you're staying nearby in Fethiye, you can easily walk to the Likya Lahiti. Start from the main square (Town Square) in Fethiye and walk towards Gaffar Okkan Caddesi. The sarcophagus is located at Cumhuriyet, Gaffar Okkan Cd. 32-34. Look for signs along the way and enjoy the local shops and cafes as you stroll.
