Car
If you are traveling by car, start by entering the main highway in your vicinity that leads towards Istanbul. Depending on your starting point, you can take the O-2 or O-4 highways towards the city center. Once you reach the Fatih district, follow signs for Beyazıt. Use GPS navigation and input 'Beyazıt, Yeniçeriler Cd., 34126 Fatih/İstanbul' for precise directions. Parking may be limited, so look for nearby parking facilities. Be prepared for potential traffic, especially during peak hours.
Public Transportation - Metro
To reach Beyazıt Mosque using public transport, take the M2 metro line towards Yenikapı. Get off at the Vezneciler station. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the mosque. Exit the station and head west on Vezneciler Street, then turn left onto Yeniçeriler Street where the mosque is located. This journey will cost you approximately 15 TL for a one-way ticket.
Public Transportation - Bus
You can also take a bus to Beyazıt Mosque. Look for buses that have stops in the Fatih district, such as the 36, 37, or 77. Get off at the 'Beyazıt' stop. From the bus stop, the mosque is just a short 5-minute walk. Ensure to have a transport card (Istanbulkart) which can be loaded with fare for around 10 TL.
Tram
If you prefer the tram, take the T1 line towards Kabataş. Get off at the Beyazıt-Kapalıçarşı station. From there, it is a short walk to the mosque. Follow the signs to Beyazıt Mosque; it should take you about 5 minutes. A single fare for the tram is also around 15 TL.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi. Simply request a ride to 'Beyazıt Mosque, Yeniçeriler Cd., 34126 Fatih/İstanbul'. Taxi fares will vary based on your starting point but expect to pay around 50-100 TL within the city center. Ensure the meter is running or agree on a fare before starting your journey.
