Once you reach the town of Ortahisar, look for parking options near the castle, as street parking may be limited. The castle is located at Esentepe, Resul Bey Sk., 50650 Ortahisar/Ürgüp/Nevşehir.

  • Public Bus

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Nevşehir to Ürgüp. Once you arrive in Ürgüp, transfer to a local minibus (dolmuş) heading towards Ortahisar. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the fare should be around 10 TL (Turkish Lira) for the bus from Nevşehir to Ürgüp, and approximately 5 TL for the dolmuş to Ortahisar. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Ortahisar Castle.

    After arriving in Ortahisar via public transport, Ortahisar Castle is within walking distance. From the dolmuş drop-off point, follow Resul Bey Street uphill towards the castle.
