Getting There

Car
From Pontus, head southwest on the D100 highway. Continue on D100 for about 200 km (approximately 2.5 hours). Once you reach the outskirts of Selçuk, follow the signs for Ephesus (Efes) and turn onto the Efes Harabeleri road. The entrance to Ephesus Ancient City will be on your left. There is parking available near the entrance, and fees may apply (around 20-30 TL).

Public Transportation
Take a bus from your location in Pontus to Izmir (Izmir Otogar). The bus journey will take approximately 3-4 hours depending on traffic. Once in Izmir, you can transfer to a minibus (dolmuş) heading to Selçuk. The minibus ride takes around 1 hour. Get off at Selçuk and follow the signs to Ephesus. It's approximately a 20-minute walk from Selçuk to the entrance of Ephesus Ancient City. There will be a small fee for the entrance (around 100 TL).

Train
From Pontus, take a train to Izmir. Check the train schedule for the best route, as it may require one or two transfers. Once you arrive at Izmir train station, take a short taxi ride or a local bus to Izmir Otogar. From there, catch a minibus (dolmuş) to Selçuk. After arriving in Selçuk, it is a 20-minute walk to Ephesus Ancient City. Be prepared for entrance fees (approximately 100 TL).
