If you are driving from central Troad, head east on D750 towards Avanos. Continue on D750 for approximately 50 kilometers. Once you reach Avanos, follow the signs to Özkonak. The Balkh Church is located in the Cami - Kebir neighborhood of Özkonak. Look for local signage guiding you to the church as you approach the town. There is free parking available nearby.

To reach Balkh Church using public transport, start by taking a bus from central Troad to Avanos. Buses frequently depart from the main bus station and the trip takes about 1 hour. Once in Avanos, you will need to take a local dolmuş (minibus) to Özkonak. Ensure to ask the driver to drop you off at Cami - Kebir. The fare for the bus is around 30 TL, and the dolmuş typically costs about 10 TL. Look for local signage towards the church once you arrive in Özkonak.
