Walking
If you are in the central area of Ashgabat, start at the Arch of Neutrality, a prominent landmark. From there, head southeast along the main road, Turkmenbashi Avenue, for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by the State Museum of the State Cultural Center. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Atamyrat Nyýazow Şaýoly. After about 500 meters, you will see the Turkmen Carpet Museum on your left. The museum is easily identifiable by its unique architectural design and a sign out front.

From the city center, locate the nearest bus stop and take bus number 4 or 8 towards the Kopetdag district. The bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to stop at the Turkmen Carpet Museum or look for the stop near the museum, which is located on Atamyrat Nyýazow Şaýoly. Once you disembark, the museum will be within a short walking distance.
