If you are driving, start from the city of Balkanabat, which is approximately 120 km southeast of Yangykala Canyon. Head northwest on the Ahal-Balkan road (A-1). After about 50 km, take the exit towards Tersakkan. Continue on this road for about 30 km until you reach Tersakkan. From Tersakkan, follow the signs to Yangykala Canyon, which is about 20 km further along a dirt road. The total journey should take around 2 hours depending on road conditions.

Public Transportation
To use public transportation, take a marshrutka (shared taxi) from Balkanabat to Tersakkan. The journey takes about 2 hours and costs around 10-15 TMT (Turkmen manat). Once you arrive in Tersakkan, you can hire a taxi to Yangykala Canyon for about 50-70 TMT. Alternatively, you can try to arrange a shared taxi with other travelers to lower costs. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
