Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. Head southeast on the Ahal Region road towards the Köpetdag Mountains. Follow the road for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the village of Gokdepe. From Gokdepe, take the road leading into the mountains, which will eventually lead you to a parking area near the base of Gora Uzun-Khar. The last stretch may require a 4x4 vehicle due to rugged terrain. Remember to take a detailed map or GPS as some areas may not have clear signage.
