Half Day Electric Bike Tour in Middle Caicos

Great despite modifications!

We had a really neat experience albeit a bit unexpected! For starters, Tevin, the tour owner, was extremely communicative and helpful in ensuring we booked the appropriate ferry times. When we arrived we were greeted by our amazing tour guide Edwin! He shared so many stories about his journey and of course middle and north Caicos! The tour started with a brief ride over to where we hopped out to fit and test out the e-bikes. Edwin got them sized up and offered all the safety equipment (optional to use) as well as a great demo on operating the bikes. They were easy and intuitive for beginner e-bikers like us! And we set off…and that’s when things pivoted a bit. We weren’t but 200-300m in when one of the bikes wasn’t working properly. We headed back to the trailer where I was amazed as Edwin swapped parts w the extra bikes and tried every trick in his hat to get the bike back up…but alas it wasn’t meant to be. As luck would have it…storm clouds were looming so we opted to lock the bikes back up and switch to a guided tour in the SUV instead. It was different than expected - but also allowed to travel further on each island and to places I’m not 100% sure the bikes would have gotten to! In the end - we had a great day with Edwin and learned so much about the islands less traveled! Thank you Tevin and Edwin!!

Different experience when in Turks!

Very different day than our boat excursions, but loved our guide Charles and the whole family really enjoyed the day. We got picked up and ferried to North Caicos and then went to middle Caicos. As a group, we decided to skip the plantation as it had rained, was muddy and full of mosquitos, but got to tour the island communities and see some other cool spots. We all loved the cave and so many stunning / beautiful beaches that were basically empy! Glad we had sunscreen and bug spray! Wish we had beach shoes/ flip flops-- the cave had slippery parts, but otherwise flip flops would have been better for the beach (we all had sandy socks at the end of the day!) Would definitely recommend for something different to see and do!
