Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are staying in Cockburn Town, start at the Grand Turk Cruise Center. From there, head east on the main road, which is called Airport Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Front Street. Turn left onto Front Street and follow it as it curves along the coastline. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will see the beautiful Governor's Beach on your right. The beach is marked by a sign, so keep an eye out for the Governor’s Beach signage.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from any location in Cockburn Town. Make your way to Airport Road and cycle east. Continue on Airport Road until you come to Front Street. Take a left turn onto Front Street and cycle along the coast. The ride should take about 10 minutes. Keep an eye out for the sign for Governor’s Beach on your right. There is usually bike parking available near the entrance to the beach.

    If you have access to a golf cart rental, begin your journey in Cockburn Town. Drive east on Airport Road. When you reach Front Street, turn left and continue along the coast.
