For those using public transport, start by taking a bus or taxi from Acholi to Kampala. The buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Gulu. The journey may take around 6-7 hours, so plan accordingly. Once you arrive in Kampala, you can take a 'bodaboda' (motorcycle taxi) or a taxi to Parliament Avenue. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand or use a ride-hailing app for convenience. The cost of the bus ride can vary, typically ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 UGX.
