Bicycle
From the city center of Arua, head northwest on Arua Road. Continue straight for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with 2WX7+CFM. Turn left and follow the road for about 1 kilometer. The airport will be on your right-hand side. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the central market in Arua. Head west on Arua Road for about 2 kilometers. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto 2WX7+CFM and continue walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer. The airport will be located on your right. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
Motorbike Taxi
To take a motorbike taxi (known locally as a 'boda boda'), find a nearby boda boda stand in Arua. Communicate clearly to the rider that you want to go to Arua Airport (2WX7+CFM). The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure you wear a helmet, which is usually provided by the rider.
Public Transportation (Buses/Minibuses)
To reach Arua Airport using public transportation, locate the bus station in the city center. Board a bus or minibus heading towards the direction of the airport (ask locals for the specific bus). Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the airport stop. The journey may take around 30 minutes, and it's advisable to check the schedule ahead of time.
