Car
If you are driving to Kabaka's Palace, start from the center of Kampala. Head southwest on Jinja Road (A-6) towards Kireka. After approximately 6 km, take a left onto the Lubiri Ring Road. Continue straight for about 2 km, and you will see Kabaka's Palace on your left. There is usually parking available near the entrance. Make sure to check for any parking fees, which may vary.
Public Transportation (Matatu)
To reach Kabaka's Palace using public transportation, head to any nearby bus or matatu stage in Kampala. Look for a matatu heading towards Rubaga or Lubaga. Get off at the Lubiri Ring Road stop. From there, it's a short walk (about 10 minutes). Head down Lubiri Ring Road, and you will see the palace on your right. Matatu fares typically range from UGX 1,000 to UGX 2,000, depending on your starting point.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a boda boda. Simply find a boda boda stage, and inform the rider that you want to go to Kabaka's Palace. The ride is usually quick, taking about 10-15 minutes from the center of Kampala, and costs around UGX 3,000 to UGX 5,000. Make sure to negotiate the fare before the journey.
