    Car

    If you are driving from the center of Bunyoro, head north on the main highway towards Gulu. After approximately 30-40 minutes, you will reach the junction for Gulu - Patiko Road. Turn left onto Gulu - Patiko Rd and continue for about 20 minutes. Fort Patiko will be on your right. Look for the entrance sign as you approach.

    Public Transportation

    From Bunyoro, take a taxi or a 'matatu' (shared minibus) heading to Gulu. This journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Gulu, you will need to transfer to another matatu or taxi going to Patiko. Inform the driver you wish to stop at Fort Patiko. The drive from Gulu to Fort Patiko takes about 20 minutes. Be prepared to pay approximately UGX 10,000-20,000 for the matatu fare from Gulu to Patiko.

    Bicycle

    For the adventurous, renting a bicycle in Bunyoro is an option. Cycle north towards Gulu on the main highway. The distance is about 25 kilometers, which can take around 2 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach Gulu, follow the same route mentioned above by turning onto Gulu - Patiko Rd for an additional 20-minute ride.
